Powerful sound that fills bigger spaces
The Polar 12 MK2 delivers higher output and deeper bass than its smaller sibling, making it a solid fit for larger venues and open areas. The 12” subwoofer reaches down to 35 Hz, giving you more low-end energy for live music, DJ sets or corporate events with playback tracks. With 2000 watts of peak power and up to 130 dB SPL, it handles louder events with clean headroom and clarity that holds together even at higher volumes.
The horizontal coverage of 120 degrees means the audience gets consistent sound from one side of the room to the other. A vertical dispersion of 30 degrees helps keep the output focused and prevents unnecessary reflections off the ceiling or floor. The result is a mix that stays clear and balanced across the space. Whether used indoors or outdoors, the Polar 12 MK2 offers sound that stays defined and present without needing extra speakers.
Four input channels with wide compatibility
The Polar 12 MK2 includes a built-in mixer with four input channels, so you can plug in directly without needing extra gear. Channels 1 and 2 accept microphones or line-level equipment like keyboards or mixers. A sensitivity switch lets you match your source easily. Channel 3 provides a Hi-Z input for guitars and similar instruments, capturing their full tone and dynamics without the need for a DI box.
Channel 4 handles stereo RCA input and Bluetooth streaming at the same time. Each input has its own volume control, and you also get a balanced Mix Out XLR socket for linking additional speakers or sending the mix to a recorder. The layout is straightforward and easy to navigate in a live setting. It’s an ideal solution for small bands, acoustic duos, solo performers, and venues wanting an uncluttered, self-contained PA system.
Stream wirelessly and link systems with Bluetooth
With Bluetooth 5.0 built in, you can wirelessly stream music to the Polar 12 MK2 with strong range and reliability. The connection process is fast, and once a device has been paired, the system remembers it for next time. If you're using a second Polar system, True Wireless Stereo mode allows you to link both wirelessly for a full stereo image without extra cables or mixers.
This wireless flexibility is great for DJ sets, ceremonies or background playlists, and it also helps reduce clutter in more polished event setups. The Bluetooth input shares a channel with the RCA aux input, letting you switch between them as needed. With up to 40 metres of range in ideal conditions, you can keep your phone or tablet with you and still maintain a strong signal throughout your set or presentation.
Flexible DSP for quick control and consistent results
The onboard DSP gives you several tools to shape your sound. You can adjust the high, mid and low EQ bands, including a sweepable mid frequency for targeting problem areas or boosting key vocal ranges. Preset modes for Music, Voice and DJ help get your mix close with a single setting. The EQ and mode settings work together without overriding each other, giving you more flexibility.
You can save your settings into one of five user memory slots, which is handy for venues or regular performers who want to recall setups quickly. Delay functions are included for distributed speaker setups, and the LCD screen and rotary control make adjustments easy. Display brightness and contrast are also adjustable, and the screen can be locked to prevent accidental changes. Everything is designed to be quick to access but secure once set.
Sub control and layout flexibility
One of the most useful features is the ability to control the subwoofer output separately using a dedicated knob. This lets you adjust the low-end response depending on where the system is placed. In smaller rooms or tight corners, too much bass can muddy the mix, so having this quick control helps you keep things clean without diving into menus or changing EQ curves unnecessarily.
The column and spacer system connects without any speaker cables, using built-in connectors that carry signal and power. If you need a shorter setup, you can leave the spacer out and place the system on a raised platform or table. The entire system is designed for quick assembly and teardown, with included carry bags and covers for easy transport. It’s a simple system that fits into a wide range of setups without getting in the way.
