Key Features
Product Ref: 397073
The two-piece bell is made from gold brass, giving you a rich sound with a broad palette of tonal colours to explore. Its lightweight yet durable construction also makes the instrument easier to manage during extended practice sessions, helping you work on technique without unnecessary fatigue. Combined with the medium-large 11.65 mm bore, the bell contributes to a free-blowing playing feel that suits musicians developing beyond the intermediate stages. Its 123 mm diameter provides a practical foundation for building a controlled, expressive sound across orchestral, ensemble, and solo playing.
Developing your technique means spending plenty of time with your instrument, so comfortable handling matters. Yamaha's lightweight gold brass bell is designed to support good playing technique and endurance, helping you stay comfortable through longer rehearsals and practice sessions. The trumpet has a medium overall weight, balancing manageable handling with the construction needed for a focused sound. This makes the YTR4335GSII well suited to progressing players who are spending more time rehearsing, performing, and refining their control as they move beyond grade 5 standard.
The second and main tuning slides are manufactured using methods also applied to Yamaha's high-end trumpet models. This construction improves stability and durability while helping you access a more refined tonal colour. Yamaha also adds a brace to the main tuning slide, helping the sound stay focused and held together. These details are particularly useful as your playing develops and greater control becomes important. Whether you're working within an ensemble or developing your solo technique, the YTR4335GSII gives you a stable platform for shaping a controlled and consistent trumpet sound.
The YTR4335GSII uses three monel alloy pistons, paired with durable piston buttons and bottom caps. These hard-wearing components are designed to extend the usable life of the instrument while supporting its sound quality, making them well suited to regular practice, rehearsals, and performances. It's a practical consideration for a developing musician who needs an instrument capable of keeping up with increasing playing time. The trumpet is supplied with a Yamaha 11B4 mouthpiece and a backpack case, giving you the essential accessories for practising and transporting your instrument between lessons and performances.
As a premium brand, Yamaha are proud to offer a free five-year extended warranty when the purchase of your instrument is registered within six months of purchase. Please visit the Yamaha website for the full terms and conditions and to register your warranty.
