Switch octave tones into your performance
Developed in collaboration with The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, the Peach Fuzz adds a flexible twist to the octave-up function of Warm Audio's vintage-inspired fuzz circuit. Its dedicated octave control can operate as a conventional latching switch, keeping the effect active until you switch it off.
Set it to momentary operation and you can instead introduce the octave only while holding the switch. That makes it easy to punctuate individual riffs, bring extra presence to lead lines, or experiment with octave effects during studio sessions. You get the character of a '70s-style octave fuzz with extra control over exactly when that octave sound appears.
Move from mellow grit to heavy fuzz
The Peach Fuzz covers a broad range of gain, giving you room to find the right amount of saturation for your playing. Its Mellow/Brite control lets you move between different fuzz characters, spanning subdued crunch and lower-gain grit through chunky, driving sounds and more aggressive saturation.
Dedicated Sustain and Volume controls keep the main adjustments straightforward, so you can quickly balance the fuzz character and output for your setup. Push it towards heavier settings for powerful riffs or use the octave-up effect to help lead parts stand out. You can also stack it with overdrive pedals when you're after more searing, metal-focused tones.
Recreates the vintage circuit with selected components
Warm Audio builds the Peach Fuzz around components selected to reproduce important characteristics of the original '70s circuit. Inside you'll find NOS Fairchild 2N3565 transistors, Germanium 1N34A diodes, high-watt carbon resistors, and film capacitors. Together, these parts form the foundation of its saturated fuzz and octave-up sounds.
Gold-plated PCB pads are also used within the construction, while true bypass operation provides a direct signal path when the effect is switched off. Each pedal is hand-assembled, then tested and inspected by trained technicians in Austin, Texas, giving you a carefully checked unit ready for your pedalboard, recording setup, or live rig.
Vintage styling meets pedalboard-ready control
The enclosure takes inspiration from the distinctive frocked appearance of the original '70s pedal, covering the Peach Fuzz in shag peach velvet. Its colour ties into The Black Keys' 2026 release, Peaches!, giving this signature version its own visual identity.
Connections remain simple, with 1/4-inch instrument input and amplifier output jacks, plus a red LED power indicator. You can power the pedal using a 9V battery or a standard 9V DC pedal adaptor, with power consumption rated at 1.5mA. Measuring 5.5 inches long, 3.3 inches wide, and 2.3 inches high, it keeps its fuzz and octave controls within a compact footprint.
