Play with confidence using a responsive, weighted keybed
At the core of the Parsifal is an 88-key weighted action that mimics the feel of a high-end acoustic grand. Built in Italy, this keybed uses a triple-sensor system to track every key movement with precision. This means even the most subtle changes in velocity and pressure are picked up, giving you full control over your dynamics. The graded weight across the range also reinforces the acoustic feel, offering a natural response that serious pianists will appreciate during both performance and practice.
Sample engine with realistic acoustic and electric tones
Parsifal uses a powerful playback engine to deliver highly detailed piano sounds. These include well-known grand models like the Venice Grand CFX, D-274 and CB-1898, as well as uprights like the U1 and U1/Felt. The engine also covers classic electric pianos such as the Electric Grand 70 and 80, Reed EP and Clavi EP. These are not looped samples — they use up to 12 velocity layers for smooth transitions and dynamic realism. Physical modelling adds sympathetic resonance, pedal noise and wooden cabinet tones to enhance authenticity.
Modelled tine piano with adjustable sound shaping
In addition to samples, Parsifal features a fully modelled tine electric piano engine. This allows you to shape your tone using detailed parameters. Choose from nine sound types, and tweak things like wood noise, felt level, hammer hardness and pickup placement. You can also control damper release, tine resonance, and overall metallic character. The result is a tine piano sound that can range from soft and mellow to bright and aggressive. This level of control makes it ideal for live performance, session work or studio sound design.
Integrated effects and performance-ready connections
Parsifal comes loaded with onboard effects to help sculpt your sound. FX1 includes tremolo, stereo auto-panning and wah options, while FX2 adds chorus, flanger and phaser with adjustable speed and depth. An amp simulator offers five classic amp types with overdrive, and there’s delay with mono or ping-pong modes. Reverb includes nine room types from studio to cathedral. You also get a three-band semi-parametric EQ to tailor the output tone.
Connections are designed for modern setups. There’s USB-MIDI, MIDI OUT, balanced stereo outputs, a sustain pedal jack and a system USB port for updates. The interface features a 16x2 LCD, preset buttons and an integrated editor to manage sounds. With 64 user presets and compatibility with Seven expansion packs, Parsifal is ready for a wide range of musical roles with minimal setup fuss.
